It’s about…
Having the right people,
with the right abilities,
in the right place,
at the right time.
Hiring the right people is one of the biggest challenges for gaishikei (foreign owned companies in Japan). To find a permanent hire, the cost of using a headhunting firm can be 40% of annual salary. After hiring a permanent employee, it is difficult to dismiss employees in Japan compared to western countries because Japan does not have the principle of employment-at-will.
We are one of the only firms in Tokyo that provides senior level accounting managers, Controllers, CFOs, on a part-time or full-time basis from a couple of hours a month to 3 to 5 days a week.
Why partner with us;
- Need a part-time or full-time manager and do not want to hire a permanent manager at this time.
- Need an experienced bilingual person to communicate in English with overseas headquarters.
- Need financial support and analysis for Japan country manager and Japan team but no budget for full-time person.
- Because of a resignation, need a temporary CFO or Controller until a full-time person can be hired.
- Need a CFO or Controller on temporary basis because of a leave of absence, maternity leave, etc.
- Need part-time or full-time support as your accounting team is busy and overworked and need someone to reduce work load.
How we are different;
- We are not an accounting outsourcing company. We work on-site at your office with your accounting team.
- We are not temporary staffing agency. Temporary agencies normally provide accountants and bookkeepers on a full-time monthly basis. We provide experienced accounting managers, Controllers, and CFOs on part-time or full-time basis based on your needs.
- We are not a recruiting or headhunting agency. Recruiting companies search for permanent full-time staff and charge a fee of 30% or 40% of annual salary. Our objective is to provide the right level person based on your needs and your budget.
- We are licensed to provide temporary staffing under the Specified Worker Dispatch license issued by the Ministry of Labor
